Do the anunnaki exist

When I purchased the gig poster at manchester in 2012, it had a portrait of the queen who was half reptilian in appearance. I've read alot about the anunnaki, particulary in David Icke books. There history goes back to ancient babylon and appear in ancient stories such as the epic of gilgamesh. But do they or did they exist. The internet is overloaded with information and videos of this mysterious race, do they still influence modern society today. I read we all have a reptilian part to the brain called the r-complex so perhaps we're all parlty reptilian. I don't know. Maybe they'll appear in the future.

The sticking point with the
ancient alien astronaut theory
is simply this:

if they were here at some point,
why have they not been back?

Maybe they have, you say?
Of course that's possible,
but I would argue it is highly unlikely
in this modern age.
