Carrot Power!

Now that I'm "getting into the numbers" as a kid once told me, I need a little extra boost these days. For about a month now I've been drinking fresh carrot juice every day. WOW! Carrot power! It really works. My energy level hasn't been this good in years. :D

Fresh juiced is best (especially organic) but when I don't have time, Odwalla and Barsotti's are good grocery store choices. Feeling a little low? Try carrot juice!

Do you think eating a whole bag of carrots might work too? I did that for breakfast for about a month once to see if i would turn a bit orange. I started to hate carrots.

Or maybe I can add rum.
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)

What kind of juicer do you have?
I've been thinking about getting a juicer, but there are so many and some are super expensive!

No, not that I could tell. I saw a program on these small sharks that happened to eat a lot of crustaceans with caroteen, and they began to turn orange. But sadly, it did not work for me. Maybe I should try two bags a day.

Eating carrots is good to but my understanding is juicing is best, especially if cold pressed. As for adding rum... hmmm... don't tempt me.

I love carrots, but I hate the flavour of carrot juice. I just eat them raw, with a little herbal yogurt as a dip or buttered bread.

Ever checked out the crook of baby arms? When they get fed a lot of carrot juice or puree, they turn orange-y :)

Never noticed that! But I did know a Japanese girl once who went on a grapefruit diet and her hair started to get a hint of orange in it. Must have been pink grapefruit. I'm hoping to gain some orange highlights amongst the grey, myself.
