I was just listening to this show and WOW if there was ever a show that needs to be released as an official boot it is this show. In my opinion the best setlist ever!

not the best set list ever but why do people have to keep brining up this show and the feelings of hate for not getting in.

I didn't read anything about feelings of hate in this thread...

Also, Ed's right, the recording now (The second one) is pretty darn good.

If there's only 1 boot for this year released, I'd rather have Dusseldorf!

I know I'm far from objective, but the atmosphere was actually better.. and it needs a decent boot far more since the Vic has 2 very good audience ones.

I have both versions posted on my blog. The second one to surface is definately better. Ed's voice and the guitars sound better, more upfront. Check it out and decide for yourself. Only problem with the latest recording is that Education is a bit low right in the beginning like the mic was blocked or something but it kicks up right when Ed comes in singing.

only those I hadn't heard before (that's only 3 in the PJ set, 2 of them covers), and most of the other I heard this year (and I've only seen the last 2 years anyway)
ok.. many only heard them the once before :)

what I mean is it's not the ULTRA-rarities setlist that people are making it to be...and athmosphere-wise, for a European, it was ok, but I've seen better.

I don't think the point is that more rare songs have been played, but the collection of all the deep cuts from the albums in one show. Putting them all together like this was just over the top great. If there's only one reason to release this show it's In Hiding.
  • thanks 3rdeye,

that was a lot of help it sounds a lot better, but hopefully one day we can see an even BETTER recording.
