FLAC sound quality

Can someone tell me what the FLAC sound quality is like? Can someone compare the sound quality of the FLAC downloaded show to the 2000 and 2003 official shows?

    FLACs are are "lossless" codec, so the quality should be the same as a .wav file, which is what you get when you purchase a CD. Not sure if that is what you were looking for.
