    Nice turnaround. I'm just wondering though; why did you guys decide to ajoin two songs into one file? It's kind of confusing. Thanks for the Gorge, by the way. Cool show, fast download.

    it's typical of a pj-realted internet operation. it goes horribly wrong, they make it seem like they're doing paying customers a favor when they fix problems, they never take responsibilty for their actions, and they flat out ignore the questions that are asked the most and need to be answered the most.

    Wow mine completed in like 10 min! And the songs are in order this time!!! Awesome!
    More photos I think too.
    I hope the people having problems get them fixed....

    my download stopped at 10% and hasn't moved for over an hour. Anyone have any thoughts yet on how to fix this problem?

    I stopped the download and closed out the system. I opened it back up and started the download over again.. The good news is that it worked the second time. The bad news is that I did not get the first 5 songs. I emailed Basecamp and am still waiting to hear back. You might be ok, but it seems like alot of people are having troubles. Good luck.

    Considering this is a brand new venture and they're providing shows to their greedy fans just hours after the show itself actually finishes, and at a meager price of 9.99 - I'd say all in all they're doing pretty damn well.

    I didn't get a few songs - woke up this morning and there they were in my account waiting for me.

    Be patient people. How many other bands do this for their fans?

    I know of one small band out of S.F. that did this on their last tour. The show was up maybe a day after instead of a few hours, but no download problems, no leaving off covers, choice of flac or mp3, had 48 hrs. to grab the show incase you ran into a problem( i.e. deleting files by accident).
    Just remebered THE MULE also post their shows for download, however it takes a few days.
    I appreciate the effort, but I feel it would be better to wait a little while longer, get the show without any problems; than to have this fiasco.
    F the downloads bring back the "official bootlegs".

    I will say that Basecamp are doing the best they can. Yes I had trouble with the Gorge download but it worked perfectly the second time. So all's well. I guess I'll wait before downloading this one though, just to be on the safe side.

    I have a quesion about using the download system . . .

    When I get to the "Open the Pearl Jam Live! Download Appliation" and click on it, I get the option of opening the file or saving it. It won't open either way - BTW what is a "jnlp" file? If I save to the hard drive, my computer can't find what it needs to open it, and the same happens if I just try to open it from the website? Anyone know who to fix this???

    Any help would be great!

    Make sure you have the java runtime update installed... a .jnlp file is a java extension... dont save it to disk. If you have Java runtime installed on your computer choose the open with option... should fire up after that. Make sure you read all the instructions. Everything you need to do is spelled out there.

    Java runtime is installed so my "system should work" it says.

    Hmmm, yeah, when I click on "Open" (rather than save it to disk), I get the ole screen that says Windows cannot open this file (it needs to find out what program created it, blah blah) . . .

    i.e. it's this step that is the problem:

    Install
    After creating a user account a link will be displayed to 'Install the Download Application'. Clicking this link will open the Java application. The install process consists of allowing the application access to your system, so that we may save files to your local drive. You will be prompted with a security verification window similar to this (may vary slightly based on platform and default browser):

    That is the "clicking this link will open the Java application" doesn't happen for me . . .

    I downloaded all of the necessary programs, and got every single song and file except for the song Given to Fly. That song downloaded onto my computer but is 0 seconds long.

    Can anybody help me?

    Basecamp did me right on my redownload of Gorge so I am very pleased. I am going to hold out on a few shows to see how things go from here though. I commend the efforts and response of ALL those involved including our great members for communicating matters.

    The downloader crashed 3 times on me! I lost 2 tracks :( email sent to basecamp ... we'll see what happens. I noticed that the partial tracks are on my computer with names like _tempbc18 Blood.tmp ... i assume thats just an mp3 but not complete.

    i had the same thing happen to me. i also emailed basecamp....is there a way to send these tracks to each other. if there is which songs are you missing?? maybe we can hook each other up?

    I just downloaded the Vancouver bootleg and had no problems whatsoever. However I think this may be because there wasn't that many people using the server at that time. So for us English folks, you want to try and download early in the morning, say about 9 am when the server isn't getting as many hits.

    usually i think PJ does us well...but this sounds like its not going well for some people...not to mention me, who doesn't have a computer burner, high speed internet, a good computer, or enjoy mp3s for live shows (hense, won't be buying any)...so basically it just sucks overall for me...ahh, for the days of 2003...(when i bought all 73 shows, i might add...)

    I downloaded Vancouver a couple days ago and it worked just fine.
