You will have to convert the FLAC files into MP3's...
There are several free programs you can do this with!!

Argghh! No, don't do that if you can avoid it. You bought lossless and converting it to MP3 is a crime. Convert it to ALAC (Apple Lossless). See if that works first before you create a lossy file. Admittedly I have not tried converting FLAC HD to ALAC, but I would definitely try it first before killing a beautiful file like that. Regular FLAC can definitely be converted. I use DB Poweramp. You can PM me if you need more help or I can do it for you.

Next time get the ALACHD version. It's apple losses less and is compatible with iTunes, and can burn CDs straight from it.

They sell the ALACHD files here

What I did with the Europe 2012 CDs were

    Download in ALACHD

    Add to iTunes

You can listen to the HD files this way.

Then to get on my iphone/iPad/iPod, I would burn a cd from te ALACHD files.

Rip the cd back into iTunes at 320kb.

Add the high quality mp3 files to my device.

    And your good to go!
