This here is incredible. Video of the Ringspiel Tour's Chicago stop. I'm sure a lot of people are familiar with it, and maybe even this video in particular, but for those who aren't....Watt released his first solo album (Ball-Hog or Tug Boat?) and invited a few of the album's guests (Eddie Vedder, Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, plus William Goldsmith) to join his band. Hovercraft, feat. Ed, and a super new Foo Fighters opened the tour's shows.

I would have loved to have seen a show in person. Probably the single greatest thing on the internet at the moment.

Yeah. That's fantastic. I've been looking for good-quality video footage from that show for a while.

Watt & Thurston Moore in NYC on New Year's Eve, followed by Chelsea Light Moving. Someone please go!

Thurston Moore New Year's Eve double bill at The Stone in NYC's East Village (with Mike Watt/Raymond Pettibon and then Chelsea Light Moving), followed by week-long residency. Someone please go to the NYE show so I can live vicariously through you! I already made plans to see another awesome band but will definitely try to make the residency.
