Ride from brooklyn/nyc to Hartford?

I'm debating getting tickets for this show, I don't drive so the only way I could realistically go would be someone giving me and my gf a ride there and back since we will be heading to baltimore the next day via amtrak

So is anyone going from brooklyn/nyc area to Hartford that has room for 2 we would obviously chip in for gas etc

    i officially have tickets, as of now i would do the train but i still rather be able to get a ride with someone there the day of the show and back after so i dont have to do hotel

    so if your doing this trip and have room for 2 please let me know

    as of now my plan is to take amtrak in on the 24th check out the 26th take amtrak back to ny penn and an hour after arriving there hoping on the amtrak train to baltimore

    but im really trying to cut out the cost of hotel
