the word never bothered me. it just sounds very 90s.
Well, that and it sounds like a word a bunch of 12 yo girls would use to "mark their territory." I'm sure it's a word he long since regretted uttering. We all do it. It sounds good in our head, then when it comes out, egad...can't take it back. It's up to us to stop using it, so he can stop regretting it. (well, really all of you b/c I never used it.).
