    figured I'd post this here too. someone asked about bars near the arena in another thread...

    I live a few blocks from the Barclays Center, these are my favorite bars in the area:

    Fort Greene:
    Der Schwarze Kölner, http://www.ex49.com/dsk/ (smallish german beer hall)

    Hank's Saloon, 46 3rd Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217 (this place is just awesome. nuff said)
    Hollow Nickel, 494 Atlantic Avenue, hollownickel.com‎ (this place is pretty new, went once. seemed cool, it has a backyard)
    There's a new "fancy" beer place near the stubhub office on Atlantic Ave as well. just opened a few weeks ago.

    i give a :thumbup: for the mariott brooklyn bridge hotel. i am a native NYer but i spent 2 nights there a year ago - very nice hotel, very nice location. brooklyn is a blast! i am so looking forward to these shows. 8-)

    Anyone know any good Vegan places? I've been on yelp and I see there are a ton BUT of course I can't hit them all, so maybe my fellow Pearl Jam fans can narrow this down for me.

    awesome! Thank you... I am excited to see what NYC has to offer vegans, there are only a handful of restaurants in Miami, it going to be cool to see what creation people have come up with up there.
