    While I had Pit and agree getting over a FG in that matchup seems a no brainer, man did the refs do everything in their power to try and prevent the cover.
    First the overturned Miller TD, then the rule that once the runner's helmet comes off the play ends and the second TD was reversed...that boggled my mind. How can the play just stop when the guy is in mid air on his way down, I understand not wanting a player to get up and run with no helmet, but logic ( a foreign concept to NFL officials and league execs) would dictate that you stop play where he hits the ground, not the exact nanosecond his helmet comes off...not like he flung it off himself or anything. Had Pittsburgh failed to score on the next play I would likely have destroyed my TV making for a most memorable Thanksgiving.

    It sucks for gamblers, but it's actually the smart move by the Raiders coaches. Most coaches never do it. They needed 2 scores so take the FG and then test your luck with the onside kick.

    oh my god, yeah the end of that pittsburgh game gave nearly gave me a heart attack. hte mid air thing is crazy to me too. there should be a clause that you have to wait until the guy, you know, falls to the ground. :roll:

    crazy how all of these games come down to 3 points or less. hell of a rivalry.

    I had the Jags with the points and the ML, so I kinda watched it. Wasn't an awful as I was expecting it to be. Jags have played well lately…won 4 out of 5 and pretty sure they have covered 5 straight.
