Just listened to Riot Act and Acacado on my porch as I drank some (a few) (more than 1, less than 10) coronas. These albums are fucking great!!!!!! "Inside job" might be the best thing PJ has ever done. Why isnt this played more? "Thumbing my way" may just be the best song on Riot Act. Holy fuck

Life Wasted
Army reserve
Inside job
Thumbing my way
Love boat Captain
Help Help
Parachutes
Save you
Severed Hand

These songs alone could make a bands career...

Thanks PJ. I love re discovering your greatness while drinking on a lazy Sunday.

Holy fuck you guys are incredibly talented.

Sounds like a good way to spend the day  I love those albums too, and want to add the weird funky awesomeness that is You Are to your list :D

I was hoping for Parachutes in Wrigley, but maybe the fact that they plaed it in London means that we are going to get a little more of these songs in the upcoming tour?

Btw I always read your name wrong, as The Biblestein  Cheers!

    Similar day.
    Subtract Avocado, add Binaural.
Also, subtract the Corona and add a slow cooker pork loin and we had the same day on the porch! :D

Especially love Inside Job - so hoping they play it in Pittsburgh or Buffalo! I really need to listen to the studio albums more. I usually throw on a bootleg... Maybe I will listen to one album a day for the next week an a half! :D

inside job's definitely a masterpiece.. the lyrics are golden.
Can I be here all alone? Clear a path to my home
  • A few of the songs on Avacado would be on my PJ top 20 songs list. Definitely Severed Hand and Inside Job. I like the whole record though. So underrated, not just by PJ fans, but generally speaking.

Me too. Especially with Riot Act. I love that album but it seems like many don't.

I actually hardly listen to Backspacer. I wonder when I will be posting how amazing THAT album is.

1/2 Full should become a staple. It's so awesome (period), awesome live, and the guitar/stage light thing is always cool too.

All great songs! It is amazing how much incredible deep cuts that this band has that would be a hit single for any other one and done type of band.

I got to see Inside Job played in Seattle a few years ago, simply amazing. One of my favorites off Avocado, which is saying something considering there is not one bad song on that album. I could listen to the album front to back over and over again without getting tired of it.

Two of their best albums of the 2000's. Both are in my top 5 of PJ records. These two albums always take me back to certain times in my life.

Parental advisory says "Dont drink and post" but drunk posts are the best posts. :)

DOes anyone else think Severed Hand is kind of a little brother of Porch? It doesnt any reduce its awesomeness, though.

Any PJ album would make a career for a band and make them done for life.

And I'm so pumped up for the new album!!! 8-)

Why pair great music with crappy beer? :)
