Binaural - A tragedy that it gets NO LOVE

  • I've always thought it was unfortunate that they don't love the album as much as I always have. Seems like maybe the band wasn't in the best place as a group, and some weren't in the best place as individuals. I remember at the time thinking that the two-album run of Yield and Binaural was a creative peak. I enjoy all their albums, but still think Binaural is the best album from 2000 on... Thin Air...Of the Girl...Nothing As It Seems. Great record.

Great album! The thing I find ironic is that the most frequently played song from this album has to be Insignificance. Insignificance (while a great song) has to be my least favorite song on the album.

Each to their own, I guess. Just like Big Hank, Insignificance is also one of my top-10 PJ song. It somehow sounds very Pink-Floydish to me, one cut that could make to "The Wall".

Although I am not keen in politics, I occasionally take a sneak at A Moving Train just to see the "Bombs dropping down" thread.

Very unfortunate, really. Someone should convince the band that the fans are hungry for more Binaural.

I love this album! We need more Binaural and its outtakes.
    Sad, Fatal, Education...all great songs.

It's growing up just like me.
  • The album that started it all for me. Lucky to hear a few of the songs live but would like to hear more such as Light Years.

It seems that the band are not the only ones who could be neglecting this album - I just switched my IPod on to listen to Sleight Of Hand and the album ain't there. Lots of boots no Binaural! :fp:

Though not one of my fave albums, I absolutely love Binaural.
    The songs are great live.

One of the great things about Berlin 09 was that Binaural finally got some love. 'Nothing as it seems', 'Gods' dice' and 'Light years' were played, if my memory serves me right.
