my personal highlight was in Copenhagen, never having seen PJ live before (and i've been a fan since 91), and seeing the roadies clear the stage for Mr. Eddie Vedder to walk onstage and perform Throw Your Arms Around Me, pre-show.

and the rest is history. amazing amazing night with a lot of emotions on stage and in the crowd.

I only caught Wembley this time around and I have to say that that was my highlight too. I cried like a baby :)

It was also fantastic to hear Low Light and I got Shit for the first time.
And I never thought I would enjoy Bushleaguer that much :)
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

when that happened and we were all waiting to hear what would be this guy's choise-song..i was screaming in the front row..

I think over at rm he explained why he chose whipping. It's probably his favourite song and he wanted to get sure that they would play his request proper and not like satans bed at penn state.

I was saying to my girlfriend yesterday, if i could relive any day again over and over it'd be the day of the Nijmegen show. I got to walk around the park, see the animals, take some pics, have some food, and just have the nicest day i've ever had.

And then the show just topped off a perfect day.

    Here it goes:

Down in Munich (Somehow I knew they were going to do it!!!)

The end of RVM in Munich when I threw Mike the T-shirt and he gave me the setlist

Light Years in Nova Rock - first for me, really wanted to hear it live! I just stood there and let it sink in...

Eddie giving me the tambo in Nova Rock, while I was waving the flag with a group from Israel

Bushleaguer in Wembley - Just because it was a first for me and I loved the dramatic lights when they played it.

Rats in Düsseldorf - I wasn't there, but got so excited just reading about it and seing the video!

Breath in Copenhagen! Now that was my personal wish from day one of seing the band. The way they went in to it, and right after playing it in Düsseldorf... I couldn't shake the surprised-shocked-extatic look off my face through the song, I was really going wild for that one and I remember Mike noticing and laughing... Later that night he threw me his Hamilton jacket which was just perfect cause i was riding around Copenhagen in the cold :)

The Copenhagen speaches - high point of the tour for me, seeing them address such a painfull subject, Eddie was handling it so well, just watching them all cope with the place they were in, and sharing the pain with us as friends, it was beautiful and special, and later on -

Nijmegen where they were obviously feeling looser, after returning to Denmark. This was the farewell set for me, and being there with lots of friends from back home and ones I met on the road really meant a lot to me. Said my goodbyes there since I had a feeling Werchter wouldn't be as intimate and close.

Werchter, I was the only one screaming out in my section, but surrounded by excited first timers - I felt I was seeing myself witnessing PJ for the first time. Showing them the moves, explaining them the details, passing them on the Mike pics I had left, made them feel closer to the stage and involved in the experience and for me, the perfect end of another tour.
  • Ed talking about Tony Blair and G Bush at Wembley! G Bush the Taxi Driver and T Blair the passenger, that was spot on!

Porch middle eight at Wembley, Eddie Standing a stones throw away!

Voice of Vedder in Madrid: kicked some asses. After Lisbon (not so good), I was worry for him...in Madrid was soooo full.
Faithfull at Wembley: most exciting and overwhelming song of the tour.
    Immortality at Wembley: chills.
The whole show at Katowice. it was TERRIFIC. And it could be better (this is a lowlight...)
Baba O'Riley at Werchter: a very sad but unforgettable moment.

Yeah, Lyons has seen everything. We'd talked about this in Munich and the only thing he was ever going to ask for was Whipping.

If it would have been me, I would have asked for Given to fly. Always. Even if it was already played at that show.

My highlight goes along with Hinny:

    - the Scottish pub in Copenhagen
