Whats the criteria?

What is the criteria for a thread to be locked? It was my understanding that asking as we stayed in topic and debated rationally and with respect, we were good. So why was chadwicks thread locked?

Was it because of the criticism towards admin? Or the mentioning of banned posters?

I've seen the admin throw their 2 cents in on several topics. So because they have admin under their name, they can't be questioned or called out or asked to give reason?

    Probably it was considered gossipy; talking about individual members and their bans. This thread will probably also meet the criteria by association.

    A copy of the "nasty" communication has been requested so we can see what was said.

    Other than that, the thread doesn't follow the Posting Guidelines. It's not ok to gossip about other members. All anyone has to do is follow the Posting Guidelines.
