Can anyone tell me who is opening for PJ on the Fall Tour? Or is it "An Evening With"?

    I hope PJ does away with the opening act... they've got a really vast catalog of songs and with their twin encores they should be able to hit the 3 hour mark with regularity if they go it alone.

    Every Springsteen show has a 7:30 local start time but the old boy works the crowd into a lather by not taking the stage until 8:10-8:30 and then playing for 3+hours nonstop. It works. :D

    Not really. 7:30 be in your seats. PJ goes on at 8:00-8:15. Play until 11:00

    If Pearl Jam were going to play 3 hour shows every night would be a big time strain. Pearl Jam has a lot hard on the vocal chord songs that I'd miss if they were playing 3 hour shows every night.

    I'll base this on when I saw them in 2006 when 7:30 was the start time on the ticket and Eddie came on promptly for the preset, introduced Sonic Youth, and Pearl Jam was on by 8:45 or so. At the Forum they played until 11:30 pm so they still ticked the 3 hour mark.

    I feel if it was an evening with Pearl Jam they would print 8pm on the ticket.
