Holy Crap!!! Turned 77 on Tuesday and released double CD - Rhythm and Blues.
Mike McCready is trying to sound like the wrong people - stop trying to emulate the musically challenged Dead Kennedys and try hanging out with people like Buddy Guy that can raise your game. F'n Keith Urban is on the disc, while Mike is playing with Star Anna. You need to raise your sites, Mike!!! You're better than what you've been hanging around!!!!!!
Ok. end of PJ related rant.
Get this double CD if you like music. The dude can still bring it.

I don't want to make this thread about taste in music. DK has very little talent musically, especially when compared to someone like Buddy Guy. Their songs may entertain you (to each his/her own), but don't start putting their musical talent in the same post with Buddy Guy. Thank you.
Kind of funny there's a song on the album that would have been perfect for them to cover at Wrigley. If only....
Get the discs - it's some great new music.
Yeah.
edit: Well's "It's My Life Baby" is another great album featuring Guy. I think I'll spin that one tonight!
what's up, Brian?
Buddy and Junior (as well as crazy ass Lefty Dizz and Muddy's band including John Primer) were also fantastic on that Rolling Stones & Muddy Waters live at the Checkerboard '81 release.
John Primer, Muddy Waters, Mick Jagger and Buddy Guy
You know how sometimes a group or a musician comes out with a record and you think, "Well isn't it great that old so-and-so is still putting out a record" but you know in your heart that their better days a long gone? Not so with Buddy Guy. This record is FANTASTIC! I could sit here and try to come up with all kinds of clever ways to describe this record but really, just get it. Buddy is still at the top- at 77! What a great surprise!
Thank you Edson! Best gift I've gotten in a long time.
