Is there a Pearl Jam Rehab?

I got it, and I got it bad, It's an acute case of Pearl Jamitis. New Pearl Jam album and tour! Shut up, and take my money! Hotels!?!?, Sure! Tickets?!?!, Yes Please!! Merchandise!?!, Why the f#@k not!! Listening to Pearl Jam until my skin itches!?!? YUUUUUP!!

Working 80hrs a week to support my Pearl Jam habit!?!? You better believe it!

Two Questions:

1.) Is there a Pear Jam rehab?

2.) What does it consist of?

    Don't think this is something anyone wants to rehabilitate! In any case, we'd all probably just cause relapses all around and it will be the most unproductive use of time ever :mrgreen:

    My family thinks I'm completely crazy, and no fucks are given. I do have an amazing husband who fully supports my obsession. If Pearl Jam is an addiction, I'm all in.

    I am about to sell the crown jewel of my PJ collection so I'm hopefull that once I do that the majority of the collection will follow. At some point where does it stop and what is it all for?

    There's worse $hit to be into. The artwork is spot on and worth money. The t-shirts are awesome. And the music out of this world. Rock on kid!!

    I am imagining PJ rehab as a place that is full of PJ merch and sealed vinyl for me to open and spin, and the bands drops by every Saturday morning for a little ax throwing with the residents and to hand out free GA tix to their shows .... So my rehab is more like Pearl Jam fantasy camp. Maybe I do have a problem. :lol:

    I hope so, for I am also addicted. It seems like my fingers seem to seek out PJ forums in the hope to find some new nugget of news.

    What would it consist of? I can imagine group sessions where your forced to listen to Justin Bieber until it "clicks", read critical articles and some ceremonial burning of all PJ CD's, including those rare bootlegs.

    But lets not kid ourselves. We will go noddingly through the Twelve Steps, pat each other on the back, seek a sponsor, but will find ourselves in a dark alley, seeking that one rare unheard PJ song and trying to "get some". And we know where to get it when it is needed. We know who the fixer is. And we know when it is time to gonna see our "friend".

    PJ-addiction is a bad, bad addiction. It should be included in the DSM-V.

    My family and friends all think that I need to seek guidance for this addiction....I just ignore them and jam on! We all need a form of "release"....Pearl Jam blasted into my life, and there is not a darn thing I can do about it.

    Yeah, there's no cure. Ever since my first bootleg PJ cassette tape in '92, I can't stop collecting the PJ ever since ..

    My philosophy is this. I don't smoke, drink or gamble. So it's OK that my only addiction is the PJ.
    And tiling. :P
