I saw him on the 3rd stage at the H.O.R.D.E. Festival in 1997. He was very good.
Widespread Panic has covered at least one of his songs in concert. I forget the title. You see me empty, Sir, do not pause and inquire, simply assume and refill.

That's awesome that he'll be there! I will be there as well.
Just remembered that I also saw him in late June in Denver as part of a late night jam after a Widespread Panic show. You see me empty, Sir, do not pause and inquire, simply assume and refill.

i finally was able track down a copy of this dvd. bought it !
indeed mr brian....one thing is a for sure. bruce, a life long, cherished by many, musician, died a very happy man...he was probably grinning ear to ear the whole night and so nice his buddies made this show happen for him.
must have been super hard for fans of his(and musicians playing in the show) that were at this show in atlanta. i'm trying to think of anyone else who has collapsed and died on stage at a show like he did and i can't come up with anyone. lots of people collapsing but...0
