The official come back to Chicago thread! Wrigley field was epic, but only so many 10c members were able to go. Please announce another Chicago date for the fall! Lets get the ball rolling. G0!

I was unable to get tickets for Wrigley as well & I refused to pay a scalper. It would be great if there is a chance to add another Chicago show to the fall tour!
I have faced it,... A life wasted,...
    I'm never going back again.

Yeah, a lot of Midwesterners were shut out of Wrigley, and for those of us who can't afford to travel to the coasts, we don't get a tour this year.

Please announce some Midwestern dates!

(And please don't wait another 4 years before coming back to Chicago!)

That is being highly optimistic I think.

I think they would be more likely to hit all around Chicago....Milwaukee, Indy, Cincy! Easier road trips for more people to travel.

I wouldn't assume that, based on history, they won't go back to Chicago in 2014. Look at Buffalo; PJ waited 7 years to play here between each the 1st and 2nd times and the 2nd and 3rd times. Now they're coming back after only 3 so you never know. History Never Repeats, right? Errrmmmm....
  • They will play Wrigley every summer until the Cubs win.....so, for all eternity

My opinion is Wrigley was the one midwest show. They pretty much play the coasts and Europe now.

That would be sweet except for the fact it would be the only midwest show they do ever.

I suspect if they play Wrigley ever again, it will be a multiple night gig...they could easily sell it out three times.

I'll tell you what....I was at Wrigley and I'm glad I was. It was a very memorable night.

But as far as show quality, not even having anything to do with Pearl Jam.....the views, the sound, the restrooms, the concessions, the outbound traffic!

I'm not saying it's the best venue, but the vast majority of people who would attend a PJ show would still go back (or go for the first time), including me. And I was one of the poor miserable fuckers who walked for 2 hours and got back to my hotel at 4:30 in the morning. It was miserable. Yet I'd do it again, and again. My view was fine, and I just pissed in my diaper.

We just need a week long stint of shows at the Vic or somewhere like Petty did a few years ago.

I was surprised at how good the sound was. From my seats on the field it sounded great.
