I am devastated that PJ would go down the road of the big day out. That pathetic festival ran it's course many years ago. All it is now is a trendy teeny bopper party, for people to be 'seen' at..usually in fluro..
And even worse we fan club members will receive no benefits when PJ are in our land..Why exactly do we pay $50 a year?!! This leaves me completely disillusioned.
I'm as big a fan as the next guy on here, but I wont be paying for an over priced BDO ticket to watch them from 3km away for 30 minutes! Look after the real fans PJ!!!!!
When have PJ toured Oz twice promoting the same new release?
On the the last tour the played a handful of stadiums and bailed on us.
I cannot imagine them coming back for a second tour of Oz - no matter how much they like the surf here!
I bet they play sideshows. There are four days between the Gold Coast date and Melbourne. One of those two cities is either getting a second BDO or a sideshow.
Never been to BDO and shattered right now, how long do bands usually play, 30 mins?
I'm not from Australia, never been to BDO, but from experience from other festivals, I suspect that Pearl Jam will be playing around 90 minutes to 2 hours. They are the headliner.
This band enjoys testing my love for them from time to time. I'm gutted along with so many others. BDO is probably the worst festival around our parts these days. Hoping for some smaller side shows and the band remembers how good a smaller venue show with 15000 dedicated PJ fans screaming our lungs out can be.
I get why they want to connect with new fans but please a little love for us die yards outside the states would be paid back in spades.
Sometimes I wonder why I pay the $50 a year when they do this to their true fans. I love the guys but to go to shithouse festival like the BDO to watch them is really disappointing. I will be going, don't get me wrong but it takes every last inch of my nerve to book these tickets. I have got my fingers crossed that they will play a few sideshows for us real ten clubbers, the true fans. Come on PJ, look after us.
I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!
Please play a side show in adelaide
Ed loves our beer and our city am always hyped to see PJ but have no interest in going to BDO
Please guys keep us Aussie ten clubbers in mind and give us a special show
Thebarton theatre would be awesome "Eddie at the Thebby"

I can
PJ, AF and Blur?
God damn.
Easily 3 of my top 5 bands of all time.
I love AF as much as PJ, but this is silly.
I just wonder why there's no announcement on this website....or at least I haven't seen any. Is this definitely legit?
