10-24-2013: Albany or Hartford 2?

Hello.

After seeing the second Boston show added, and a likely Seattle 2 will be added, the only real open date (on leg 1 at least) appears to be 10-24, as the shows now are 10-22 Philly and 10-25 Hartford.

So my question is this - would you rather they add a show in Albany the 24th, or, add a second Hartford show that day.

I personally would rather a second Hartford show, as I'll be there already, and know its easier for the band to do a 2 night stand vs one city and another city the next night.

I also know lots of people wanted an Albany show.

So that's it! Which one would you like to see added (if any) and why.

I would love Albany! ;) I won 10c Hartford tickets in the lottery already, so that would make me ineligible for the second Hartford show. ;)

its easier for the crew to do 2 nights in the same venue, especially back to back nights.

I'm torn. I read the announcement for Worcester and it specifically stated that members who entered the lotto for the first show and did not win could were eligible to enter for the 2nd show. This makes me think that PERHAPS they will try to give those members that lost the 1st show and want to try for the 2nd first dibs on tickets, followed by the rest of the 10c, followed by the general public.

I entered Hartford and lost, so if I'm correct, I might score pretty awesome seats for a 2nd Hartford date.

The downside is that 10/24 is a Thursday. I have someplace to be on Thursday AND Friday, but not Saturday. But you know, we all make our arrangements and shit so skipping out on Friday wouldn't be the end of the world, especially since I'd have Saturday to recover. If the Thursday show is fuckin' awesome, post-show high will probably result in me booking a room for the night which will cost way too much money, and waiting by the ticket window the next morning hoping to score a ticket for Friday instead of going home and being responsible!

Albany I would've gone to but it's further from me than Hartford & frankly, they haven't played there since 2006. Not sure if there just isn't a market for a show there or what, but if it comes down to it i'd be 100% likely to attempt Hartford 10/24 and maybe 30% likely for Albany.

Albany. I have a 2 hr drive from work but I'm not sure if I can make it that night. I would go for GA and just have to find a way to get there if I got tix.

I'd say something in NYC - maybe late night TV or even SNL rehearsals for 10/26?

    SHOW COUNT: (164) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=108, US=118, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=4, Australia=5
    Mexico=1, Colombia=1

I gotta go with Hartford since I am driving up from NJ for the Friday show already. Would just leave day earlier.

Not to be a downer for the Albany crowd, but serious question, would they really add an entirely new venue after the fact and on an immediately preceding day?

It doesn't matter. If they add either city we'll be there. I guess if they added Albany it would save me the cost of a hotel room for the night in Hartford.

    Another vote for Albany!!

Why not Albany?? 2 nights in Hartford -really? I understand the logistics (band, crew etc.)
Don't get me wrong Hartford shows are always killer -i will have seen pj twice in Hrtfrd including upcoming 10/25 as well as eddie solo since they last played Albany -its been 7 long years since pj has rocked Alb.........time to make a return....pj doesn't tour that often-why not hit a city they haven't played in far too long -this all being said -my gut is they head to nyc for fallon or letterman or maybe up to the Berkshires for a night of R&R...ALBANY!

Second time someone has mentioned TV or SNl rehearsals... Are they playing on TV sometime soon I'm not aware of?

Nothing announced yet but you would expect them to want to promote the new album with a late night appearance or two

Not buying the TV thing happening then. If anything, I'd say they' do SNL on the 26th.

    Still holding out for Albany...

Everyone still think this date will be for a TV appearance?

I could see a couple more shows being added, the one mentioned here, Seattle 2 and possibly one more somewhere along the way...
