where you staying/how you getting around? (SD thru van)

Just wondering how others are planning to teavel, where you're staying and the like. Or taking suggestions for the same.
I'm also wondering if a travel agent might be more efficient than say an expedia or the like.
Hell if anybody wants to split a car/gas or even a room for any portions of this leg, I'm open to offers there too.
I'm coming from edmonton and hitting everything from SD thru van.

I started a thread awhile back to try to consolidate travel info for the westcoast. It is here:

I am flying from Bellingham to LA, taking the train to Oakland, flying back to Bellingham and driving the rest of the shows. (Not doing Calgary.)
