Have a look at this picture - it made me really excited!

Gives you a good idea of the size of the venue, and also how many flipping ten club members there will be in that standing section!

London is now Out of Stock (no more temporarily).

So does it mean they really gave us all the GA tickets(whole 10c floor!!!:D) or have they've been telling us bull and they kept some off for general sale?
If I see any on ticketmaster (I'm going to help friends try to get seats), they're going to hear from me! not taking kindly to be lied to...

on the other hand, when is the stupidly overpriced package sale over? or are they going to try to flunk them till the last minute?
they're obviously obliged to keep both standing and seats for those as they don't know what people will choose...but will they release the GA ones to us or to the general sale? probably the general sale :(

  • Looks like I'll be taking a day off work & going down early.

There must be a pub or 2 in the area where we can sink a few & then still get to the venue early - remember, we will need to queue for the 10c tix & then queue again for the Standing area entrance, so we'll need the time.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Hey, I have a question about the travel package to London. If I'm understanding it properly, then it would be about $2,600 USD for my wife and I to get tickets to the show and stay in a hotel for two nights?

There are some nice features like the parties and such, but doesn't this seem to be a really bad deal? If it included airfare, then it would be amazing.

However, maybe I'm missing something? I'd love to go out there (I'm currently in Houston, TX), but the price is really high.

    Thanks!
    You will try.
  • I'll be there :) Last time I went to London was on a school trip :o
  • Gen and I will most certainly be there.

This is surely going to be a great show.....could it rival New York 2003....let's make it so :)

    Manchester - 4/6/2000
    London - 20/4/2006
    Dublin - 23/8/2006
    London - 18/6/2007
    New York City - 24/6/2008
New York City - 25/6/2008 - we will be "what is up" New York
    Manchester - 18/8/2009
    Manchester - 20/6/2012
    Leeds - 6/7/2014
    London - 18/6/2018

nope, you're right, it's a very bad deal.
You can tell the price of the hotel from the difference between the single/double packages: $330 a night for the room (which is a relatively cheap hotel in London!...just looked at their own website, so not the cheapest deal by far, and you can get a double room yourself for just over $400...much cheaper I'm sure if you go through a broker site).

so if you add up everything, you'd get it much cheaper yourself...unless you want to be nannied around, that's not worth it imho.

Okay, I thought maybe I was missing something.

I looked at how much reservations are for that hotel on those dates, and it's something like $1,000 for 3 night (not just 2).

And tickets will probably go for about $200 a piece?

So that would be $1,400 for two people to stay in London and get into the show. That's a far cry from $2,600. I'm just not sure what all the extra money is for?

Bummer, I was excited when I first read about it.

tickets are already on sale and it's $181 for the pair (that's expensive enough!)
  • I'm OFFICIALly going.

But the other threads already knew that ;-)
