I had Lou Mannati's (spelling?), last week before the show.

Shit filled me up. But, and not to start an argument, I missed me some east coast pizza while out there

That place is awesome!! We had it the previous time in Chicago..

Just as we left the restaurant, there was homeless man who looked very thin.. like he hadn't eaten in weeks.. We gave him the other half of our pie.. I turned to Lisa on the next block and said "I hope it doesn't kill him".. heavy duty pie right there!! :D

Deep dish is good but I generally prefer Chicago thin.

That was the 2nd thing I did when I got to Chicago. I thought that pizza was gonna kill me. I was pretty confused about the process for ordering. You have to order a whole pizza at a time and either take it to go in a box or sit there and eat it. Wasn't expecting that.

Question regarding pizza etiquette for Chicago natives: do you eat deep dish with a knife and fork or with your hands? My friend sat there and ate the whole thing with a knife and fork. I tried doing that but after two bites gave up on that and just ate it with my hands.

So what do you do if youre in a rush and just need a quick bite? you can't just get a slice on a plate to eat on your way.

This thread made me want pizza :eh: :problem:

Think it's because those are the 2 types of food that it's easiest to get delivered? I mean, nobody seems to deliver chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes.

    Pizza

Brought back (2) Lou's 9" pies from Chicago to NYC. Hotel kept them on ice before we boarded.

So good.... If I lived there I could only handle that stuff once a month at most
