Wow you people are unbelievable

Ok I know ill get a lot of backlash but I have been a pearl Jam fan from the begining and a fan club member from 2000 but some of you whiners are rediculus..You are not entitaled to anything, and on another note I got pitt lottery seats woohoo Im happy but if i didnt I wouldnt be crying the blues...As far as the scalpers go thats the way it is has always been..deal with it.This will be my 3rd PJ show and mabe because i am not greedy I get to see a great band.

    I agree with most of what you're saying but I can't agree about the scalpers. It's getting more and more ridiculous. I know its always been around but its never been this out if control. It's almost impossible to get tickets to shows that are in high demand these days and I think it's a shame.

    THANK YOU for a new and refreshing take on this!! I havent seen this type of perspective and insight on this topic prior. In fact, I am not sure I have seen this post from ANYONE EVER!! These people def need to be put in their places! KUDOS TO YOU!!

    What a great thread.....yah well I had to stand in a bar for 4 hours with absolutely fantastic guys/gals that bought me beers in the heat just to buy a shirt and a poster ohhh then we went for burgers at the Full shilling and they were $3 bucks and the green line ales were $4 , then the next day I had to spend 8 hours at a Pearl Jam show at Wrigley field...man I hate this band. thanks for nothing. I just wanted to complain somewhere in this thread :roll:

    thats the thing ... I don't care ... if I get tickets, I get tickets, if not oh well. It's not a big issue with me, I've always managed to get tickets for concerts that I really wanted to see through ticketmaster, never once have I had to use a reseller site. I got tickets to Wrigley, tickets to the stones and could of had Buffalo Pearl Jam tickets 10-15 minutes after the sale started ... as for the resellers are you sure its just corporate, I'm not.

    I generally agree. You have be pretty naive to think that it's all PJ/10c's fault. The ticket industry has been crooked for decades and gets more crooked by the year. They have monopolies on the venues so there's no way around it. If you want to tour you have to use them.. it sucks, but it's reality. I often wonder if people go to concerts other than PJ. I would think peoples points of view would be more level headed if they'd dealt with getting tickets on a more consistant basis. It's not just a PJ thing.

    On the slip side I'm always a little dissapointed if I can't get 10c tickets to show, or more disspointed if I miss out on tickets all together. I blame TM more than the band/10c..... and I think thats fair :)
