So is Seattle 2 a pipe dream?

I still think so. I think maybe after the album comes out and there playing it more on the radio, the concerts around seattle might sell out and then Seattle 2 will have a chance. The demand is there especially it being a Saturday. Ill actually be surprized if they didnt.0

I mentioned it in a previous post but it would seem really weird if there wasn't.
There's seems to be a few mentions of slip-ups from TM where the 2nd date was accidentally mentioned. They guy who posted about the dates a long while before the announcement posted two dates. Key Arena isn't booked the 2nd night.
I think the odds of a 2nd show are getting slimmer every day but one has to ask... What Happened? Most of the indicators seem to point to a 2nd show, so if the band change their minds, I wonder why?
Maybe Kat or Santos can shut us down for sure? Do either of you fine folks want to come out and tells us there's no 2nd show so we stop speculating on it?0 -

There is no way 10c would or could tell anyone if a 2nd show was happening or not before it is formally announced.
Of course, they may sometimes just reply once they get tired of getting 10,000 emails about shows that may or may not happen....got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0 -

I remember your post. I thought it was a very clever choice of words that they used. They didn't outright deny a 2nd show, they only said it wasn't planned. I interpreted that as code for they haven't announced one.
I would gather that the 10c, the band, ticketmaster or other entities can't/won't divulge the info unless the formal announcement has been made. That's why I thought the 10c's response to your email seemed a clever way of not answering your question0 -

exactly, if you had emailed about the 2nd Worcester show the day before it was announced, I bet the reply would have been the same.
It is just strange that their hometown show would not get a 2nd, even though after NYC it is the best bet for a sellout.
Of course, the band may now consider NYC their hometown....got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0 -

It's even stranger because the little tidbits of info seemed to indicate that a 2nd show was planned. If it doesn't happen I'd be really curious to know why.
If it doesn't happen I see the best case scenario as being that they started to plan out next years touring schedule and decided they wanted to go back to the Gorge. They didn't want over saturate Seattle with concerts so left it at 1 for this year since they'd be coming back next year... wishful thinking0 -

I think they do that for every show? It's TM that sets the limit.
I think there's a lot of 10c seats for Seattle I though. I keep looking at ticketing websites and ebay for upgrades. There's doesn't seem to be much of anything on on the entire floor or the the first 3 or 4 sections in the wings. They must of scored a pretty decent allotment for the first Seattle show.
The first Seattle show sold out super quick... I was hammering refresh, put in my quantity, filled out the captcha and it was sold out already. That took maybe 15 to 20 seconds. They seemed to release some side stage/behind stage tickets an hour later and I got a pair behind the stage. The demand is definitely there.0 -
The general feeling was that Albany was going to get a show as well (Some dude called the arena and said it was planned). But i'm still hopeful, Its just strange how it wasn't announced with other doubles.
I think either its not going to happen, they are planning something (Fan club or whatever), Or the band refused at first (maybe change their minds?)
Maybe a Christmas show of just fan club singles0 -

That is true about ticketmaster. But it would be fun if the band rented the whole place out to have a fan club show, not sure if they could do that, or ticketmaster would allow it.
It is strange that a show with a guaranteed sellout in their hometown would not get added. Especially with all the leaks about a show on the 7th. And this late in the game, it would not have any effect on the attendance in Portland, Spokane, or Vancouver. Not sure it would have effected them anyway....got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0 -
I checked on ticketmaster last night for tickets to the portland and vancouver shows. Portland only has singles available, and vancouver only has nose bleed directly behind the stage. The demand for a second show in seattle is currently high , and i feel the demand will increase when the new disc is released.
