Would love to have PJ20 Alpine Valley shows released as well. Thought the Wrigley Field show was historic from the setlist to every song sounding perfect
Didn't they (10c) say they would initially release "Instant Classics" at a discount?
This would definitely qualify as an "Instant Classic".

I just finished listening to one of the fan bootlegs, the first time hearing anything from this concert since being there in person. It was my first PJ concert, so I didn't know if I had propped it up in my head for more than what it was, but upon second listen, I still love it. The band was so on-point that night, everything sounded amazing, and they played some of my favorite songs. Definitely would buy a bootleg.

Don't think it will be released till after LB since they played new songs
I see this reasoning everywhere and dont get it from a marketing standpoint.
The buzz for Wrigley is still at its highest, so you wanna issue the bootleg as soon as possible. As time goes by, people will start to think of the new record, upcoming tour and its bootlegs and some will easily think of skipping Wrigley bootleg in favor of upcoming stuff in October.
I guess, for all parties involved, the earlier Wrigley is issued, the better.

Not debunking your DVD theory, but there were video screens on the sides of the stages too. The cameras may have only been used for those. We shall see :corn:
A child's rhyme stuck in my head...
It said "Life is nothing but a dream."
I've spent so many years in question
To find I'd known this all along.

If they started at 7:30 like they said they wouldn't have to drop all those great songs. After the first 5 songs I was expecting a show to rival Spectrum 4. Instead....I got a damn good setlist but idk something just felt off. I rarely complain about the crowds at shows because to me it doesn't matter, but I feel like it never really hit that point where it took it to the next level. When you drop Betterman and Alive it's tough to get there....still a damn good time and a solid show, but I keep thinking how epic it could have been. Not sure I will ever get past that unfortunately :fp:
They started late due to electrical problems. I've said it over and over I wouldn't change a thing. The night was perfect. No other band would have pulled it off.

I do love Rearviewmirror but I think Alive was a better choice in that spot.
It will be an insanely good boot!!!! So many special moments and unique song versions, and they sounded absolutely amazing. I was actually shocked at how good they sounded at a huge outdoor venue. So impressive. I definitely think it deserves to be an instant classic.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
