I don't post here often but I find it interesting that a thread I just started regarding a certain website that lists concert tickets for sale got locked. I just wanted to say for the record that I have never purchased concert tickets pearl jam or otherwise from that website or any other source that charges in excess of face value. I was simply checking out what was listed out of a sheer curiosity and noticed that some GA tickets were listed.

Anyways, I just wanted to say that I was not promoting the website or advocating that anyone pay in excess of face value for tickets.

I suppose this thread will get locked as well but I wanted to explain why I made the earlier post.

    you were promoting tickets being sold for above face value whether that was your intention or not.

    I get it. I just wanted to make it clear that I was not advocating going that route. Its not like that source of tickets is a big secret or mystery to people who view or participate in this forum.

    They promote free speech within the guidelines that everyone agrees to when posting on this forum. Also, band members don't troll the forums and most likely don't care what we post here but there are rules for a reason... mostly to protect against scalping (as well as unreleased content) in this environment.

    That is why I wrote that I expect this thread will get locked as well. Although perhaps the more ambiguous nature of this post will keep it under the radar.

    The only reason I entered the original post was confusion over how GA tickets could be listed if the GA section is 10c. That was it.

    I will be purchasing my tickets through the public onsale on Saturday. Hopefully I can pull something good.
