Why is this one better? What is working better than that one? I skimmed through it and I kinda like the position aspect for bonus points.2003: 7/14 NJ ... 2006: 6/1 NJ, 6/3 NJ ... 2007: 8/5 IL ... 2008: 6/24 NY, 6/25 NY, 8/7 EV NJ ... 2009: 10/27 PA, 10/28 PA, 10/30 PA, 10/31 PA

the problem with position, is there is such a lockdown on position IMO without too much movement. Position is normally very predictable. When we choose the songs, we basically have a mental idea of when they would exactly get played during any given show.
It would be interesting to modify that perhaps for next time and offer both ways. That way people could also double up. Wouldnt mind having 2 "teams" to follow for different goals.
the standings are pretty interesting.
I would say anyone with 3 songs or less remaining, still in the single-digits of duplicates are in the driver's seat.
It will be interesting to see if and how much they change it up for leg 2.0 -

Yeah that is true. I definitely picked Oceans kniwing that it is an opener and therefore not be played alot. But turns out that it didn't open.
2 teams =
Definitely agree with the 3 songs left to be played with single digit duplicates are really the teams poised for a win.2003: 7/14 NJ ... 2006: 6/1 NJ, 6/3 NJ ... 2007: 8/5 IL ... 2008: 6/24 NY, 6/25 NY, 8/7 EV NJ ... 2009: 10/27 PA, 10/28 PA, 10/30 PA, 10/31 PA

...... Can shows that just happened last month really be legendary though? I think 10c might be jumping the gun there. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -

For most of the shows yeah I think they may be jumping the gun. For Hartford... I think they may be spot on.
How do I wait till January for that boot?!??___________________________________________

Since it will be a while before we have all the new bootlegs available maybe we can each purchase a gift card for the winner?
http://pearljam.com/giftcards
We would of course have to figure out shipping but that could be done easily enough. $16.98 plus shipping to the winner's home address. Then the winner could pick boots of his/her choice as they become available.___________________________________________

Speaking of the bootleg prizes, are we talking downloads or CDs? Or is it completely up to the winner? Or the loser? ... I can't even remember if a purchased bootleg download is done with a download code, or if a link shows up in our order history. If the latter, then obviously the prize bootlegs would have to be CDs.With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0
