Studio vs. Live (ie. Bootlegs, live albums...)

As much as I love studio albums (of any band, not just PJ), I find more satisfaction in listening to live Pearl Jam. Don't get me wrong, I love listening to Ten or Vs. from start to finish but I find the true strength of PJ's music lies in their live performances. Just listen to any official bootleg, and the emotions that the band puts into their performances as well as the interaction with the fans (and the fans' reactions) make for a much more satisfying experience. Take for example last week's show in London, I literally had goosebumps the whole time from listening to the crowd react to the songs and the emotion from the band which is making me hope for the bootleg to released as soon as possible. I want to relive this feeling from start to end. It's one thing to listen to the original albums and say "yeah, I heard that song" and another to listen to a bootleg and say "Oooh, I remember that song and how I felt listening to it"

Anyway, my 2 cents... I just love live PJ over studio PJ.

Depends what kind of mood I'm in, but if all of the live albums sounded like LO2L, I'd listen to them a helluva lot more!
