Ice Cold Water...........$1.00

I can't get this phrase and that guy's voice out of my head. I wonder how he's doing? I hope he sold enough water on Friday. I hope he made out OK in the storm. I wonder if he knows how much he has impacted the lives of countless PJ fans? Take care of yourself water guy. We miss you. And don't raise your prices. $1.00 was a steal and was greatly appreciated. And your water was SOOOOOO cold.

    I gave the guy two dollars and he said, great I can buy a water for myself. LOL

    He obviously didn't understand supply and demand as if he charged $2 per bottle, he'd still make a killing.

    There was a guy on Friday that was going up and down the merch line outside with a rolling cart of water bottles. Lmao he was singing and dancing to the song that he liked to call "$4.00 water, ICE COLD PEOPLE!!!" :lol: probably not as funny as this guy, but I got a kick out of it!

    I knew I heard him say that a few times but I was not sure if I was hearing things as he would not say that often. Nice to hear someone else heard that. "Ice Cold water....$1.00" was the common phrase. "You can pour it all over your body" was the rare alternate phrase.

    I watched an earth cam video for a bit yesterday, and the whole thing with the view of the arena and the noises of people and then this guy reminded me of a science fiction movie from the 70s. Something like Logan's Run :lol:

    I wasn't even at the Wrigley show but from being to Cubs games I knew exactly what this was about.

    ^^^ That second video is so interesting actually! Hearing the show from that perspective is really cool, especially the crowd sing along to elderly woman. It actually seems louder from the outside than I remember it being inside. Cool! :)

    I have one of these.

    I was at Wrigley last weekend. I had to chuckle hearing and seeing the ice cold water guys. Good times.
