from Guam to Pearl Jam

living on a small tropical island in the Pacific, where Pearl Jam doesn't tour - forces our family to travel to attend PJ shows...so far, we have traveled to San Diego & San Bernardino CA from Guam in 2000, Brisbane & Sydney Australia from Guam in 2003, Hawaii in 2006, and to LA for 2 shows in 2010. All that adds up to 9x seeing my fav band Pearl Jam live. [counting PJ at the U2 concert in Hawaii] From Guam to CA is 12 hours of flying not including layover, but well worth it.

met Eddie once in Hawaii, but didn't wanna disrupt his family time so just said "Hey Eddie, good show last night" and Eddie was cool, we shook hands, but that was it... wanted to chat more, but I am a dad too so understand family time.

really wish one day at one of the shows my wife and two kids can meet Eddie and rest of the band. it would be cool after traveling to all those shows so far away; airfare over long distance gets expensive, but Pearl Jam is worth it.

traveling again from Guam this year to Dallas 11/15, San Diego 11/21, LA 11/23 & 11/24, Oakland 11/26...8 plane rides in all...taking my 16 year old son & 12 year old daughter with wife..gonna be a blast

Met this fine family at the Hawaii show, and have remained friends and attended shows together since. GREAT people, as so many fans are. I hope your family dream comes true soon!
