Here is what I am hearing, but I need help

She comes on like a stone
But you dont know where from she was thrown
like a burning meteor from miles high
shes lookin for a place to land
she said you got urself some sand
And whatever you'd reply she took as yes

she comes out the deep?
with her newly planted seeds and soon you're
thrown down on your knees and then you're dead
then before ya know the weeds are all beastly overgrown
with all the wild seeds he sews in your sleeve

youve gotta know youll never let her go
lightning bolt!! lightning bolt!! lightning bolt!!

always something, and never nothing
isnt that the way were taught to dream... to sleep in?
oh looking through the worn our pages
in stages when you knew not who was me
yeah! yeah! yeah!
until the lightning strike sets you free

chorus repeats

the crashing stormy waves are over shoreline everyday
until the castle on the waves turns to sand
then before ya know the weeds are all beastly overgrown
with all the wild seeds youve sewn in your sleeve
and with no repair in sight ??
no doubt which way ??
as you open her world why dissapear to you
and your death will soon grind at me
(no clue on this line)
all your problems, they wont die with you

yeah yeah.... yeah yeah.... yeah yeah
shes a lightning bolt
never let it go
shes a lightning bolt

    From the album version:

She comes on like a stone
But you don’t know where from she was thrown
Like a burning meteor from miles high
Looking for a place to land
She said, “have you got yourself some sand?”
And whatever you replied she took as “yes”

Now she comes up to me with her new unplanted seeds
And soon you’re thrown down on your knees
    And then you dig
And then before you know, the weeds all beastly overgrown
With all the wild seeds she sows in your sleep

You gotta know you’ll never let her go
    She’s a Lightning Bolt

    Always something and never nothing
Isn’t that the way we’re taught to be? To be…
Flipping through the worn out pages and stages when you knew not who to be
    Yeah, yeah
Until the lightning strike sets you free

    Yeah Yeah Yeah

You gotta know you’ll never let her go
    She’s a Lightning Bolt

Crashing stormy waves erode her shoreline every day
Until the castle of her ways turns to sand
She holds her loving breast as her birds fall from the nest
Flying towards the great northwest, chasing

And with no repent inside, there is no God with such miles
To open her world wide with subterfuge
And your death will soon arrive
As she finally decides that all her problems they won’t die with you

Oh yeah, Oh yeah, Oh yeah

Yeah never let her go, she’s your lightning bolt
    Yeah never let her go
    She’s true
    She’s your rock n’ roll
    She’s a lightning bolt
    A controlled fall
    Like you

    I'm thinking

    Uncontrollable

    Instead of

    A controlled fall...

    Anyone else?

I think, these are lyrics that are getting better near the end and encapsulate, to some extent, the feeling/ sense and themes I heard in the other three songs. The "her" could be anything. Inspiration. Realization. But is something that makes you stop and re-evaluete life. LB could therefore be a perfect title for this album, for I think that it embodies the thematical framework...

That said however, I no longer feel comfortable to talk about lyrics about songs that aren't officially released yet. Even though I think that these debates generates interest in the end. So I better. But I think that these lyrics, same as MYM, FD and Sirens all have a certain subtelity, where weather methaphores are used to express uncertainty. But that is maybe the poet in me.

    Agreed on "Obesely Overgrown".

    Agreed on "uncontrollable".

Also, in the second verse...I think instead of "She comes after me" it SHOULD be "She comes after thee"
Cause in the context of the story...the speaker is talking about "you". And Thee means you.
    Near to death.
    Here to die.

They played this at Wrigley. I'm doing my best.

I know, but still... Made a comment once about a sentence taken from a review and didn't bode well. So I am just careful. I also thought that some the lyrics were already made public, but they are all over the net, but that doesn't seem the case either. That is why I feel a bit hesitant.
