Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns

Was this the 1st time they played the Chloe Dancer part? I only ever remember them playing the Crown of Thorns part.

    The first time was in Las Vegas 2000 I believe-10 year anniversary.

    I was under the impression that SPECIFICALLY "Chloe/COT" was super rare to be played...less than 5 total in their history, but somebody said 'they *always* play it'...

    somebody help me out?

    According to the PJ Stat Tracker app, that was the 4th time Pearl Jam played that cover.

    I believe 2000 Las Vegas premiered "Crown of Thorns" (with Brendan O'Brien on keyboard, as it was pre-Boom), but Toronto 2011 had the first full performance with "Chloe Dancer" included. They had played "Crown of Thorns" several times in between.

    was at both shows! ... i think wrigley is only the second time this has been done ...

    CD/CoT has long been my fave MLB song, and I was really touched to hear Eddie pay tribute to Andy with it on PJ20.. I do like the different spin that Eddie puts on it and love both versions.

    While I wouldn't want it turned into a 'Black'-like staple song, it would be magnificent to hear it this fall.

    One of the highlights of the show for me, been waiting so long to hear CoT and it made it so much better to get CD as well.
