What is everyone's thought about wearing a PJ shirt to the concert? I've always stayed away from it...

You should wear what you want. I don't think anyone is going to care.

if the fuckin guitarist in the band wears his own bands t-shirts when playin the gig then i'm sure its ok

do people actually care... how shallow!
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I've never understood the problem with wearing a band's shirt to their gigs. It's up to you what you wear. Don't let others rule you

It was only a matter of time before this thread appeared. The "concert etiquette" one rose from its own ashes on the Porch last week. You can't have one without the other.

I'll wear a PJ shirt just as soon as they design one that isn't completley lame.

This is the most ridiculous thread I've ever heard - who the hell is anyone to tell someone not to wear a PJ tee to a PJ show or listen to PJ before hand? Christ! Does it matter - it's a PJ gig - you obviously love the band so why not wear the shirt as well!!! Some people are very strange!

I'll be wearing my PJ Astoria shirt to Dublin - and I'll be listening to PJ on the flight over - sorry if that offends anyone!

    Slightly different angle:

Why I won't wear my white PJ shirt again...
... because I don't want it to get yellow sweatmarks in the armpits
... and because I don't want to get red wine on it (I WILL be standing on the first row for my next one)

My other PJ shirt is a Vs shirt, long-sleeved, XL. Makes me look like Dopey from Snow White so I only wear it in bed.

My third PJ shirt is one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-PEARL-JAM-93-concert-tour-shirt-LARGE-rock_W0QQitemZ8414895294QQcategoryZ28022QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem.

If I feel like it, I'll wear it.

wearing a shirt of any band to their own show is a margainal choice

but of mainstream bands like pearl jam, U2 ect its just lame

lame? I've worn a PJ t-shirt to previous gigs I've been to and I'll be wearing one to the ones I'm going to in Europe. I really don't care what others think, I'm there to enjoy myself and I'll wear what I like! What you wear is down to individual choice. Silly thread really.
