Wrigley 2nd hand prices - who is paying these prices?

I had great seats to PJ20 in Alpine Valley for $250 each - why has it been impossible to get anything for Wrigley that is comparable? People are trying to get $3000 for seats on the field tonight (they had been set at $1000 for the last several weeks and I really thought they might come down). And there's a 50% chance of T-storms! I would love to see this show - but cannot fathom spending $3000 per ticket for 2 of them. Its too bad. Will probably be a good one.

    It's sick I know - but I just paid 2500 for a GA ticket. I'm flying from Utah and I figure this is a pretty special one. I've seen them at 4 and 5K so 2500 actually made me feel like I was getting a discount - how wrong is that!?!?!?! :?
