An American Airlines flight bound for Chicago made an emergency landing.
The flight was headed from Manchester, England. It landed safely at Shannon
Airport in Ireland.

The American Airlines plane had 212 passengers on board. It was a Boeing 767 plane.

All of the passengers have now safely got off the plane.

    I would think not, I doubt someone coming from overseas would wait until the actual day of the show to arrive in the city, just for this reason - in case something went wrong with your travel plans. You have to give yourself some leeway there.

    I think you might be surprised. I've seen several posts about people flying in today for the show.
    That flight was supposed to arrive at 4pm, so it was "doable".

    I wouldn't do it for the reason you mention though. Plus, travelling wears me out. I'd want to be
    in top form for Wrigley.
