    buddy told me they are doing a 2 hour soundcheck tonight

    There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.

    No opening act per "my people" they are just soundchecking the entire sound system at this point, which is how most bands do it, with prerecorded music. You'll notice a big difference when a live band starts playing. Also, Opening acts don't get advance sound checks, they are the final "Sound check"
    There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.
