The light rail will take me from BWI to right near the arena. Lexington Street is the stop, correct?

The walk from the stop to the far side of the Arena (Holiday Inn, Days Inn, etc) is relatively safe? Im also looking to get back over there at 5AM to head out.

    Is this service dependable?

    Thanks

There is a Light Rail stop directly next to the Baltimore Arena, but it's not called "Baltimore Arena". It's called University Center/ Baltimore Street.

The walk in the downtown area is safe.

Someone else mentioned earlier in the thread that the Light Rail stops at 7PM on Sunday night, so you may want to look into that.

    very confused.

How far out does the stage reach?

What is better? Section 206 or 207? Would 206 be completely on the side?

that stage looks like it would be 2-3X the size of PJ's. I would think they would compact it more towards the back

Yep Baltimore Street is very "classy." :D Just don't walk toward the neon lights no matter how pretty they look from a distance. Public transportation does stop pretty early in Murdermore, especially Sun-Thurs. but don't worry, the walk from holiday inn, days inn is safe. Days inn is pretty much a block away I think. The harbor area where the arena is for the most part pretty safe, just wouldn't recommend venturing out deep into the city in any direction, it gets hairy (unless you like crack, then it's heaven). Across the harbor is Federal Hill, nice view of the whole city from up there and it's a safe neighborhood too. Worth a walk over for those who are visiting from out of town.

    Hey Everyone!

Thanks for chiming in so far.

This looks like it's going to be a "Blast" for sure.

Funny that the name of the Major Indoor Soccer League team that plays in 1st Mariner is called the "Baltimore Blast" :D

Anyway...I'm completely blown away by how many people from the forums are going to be there...WOW!!!

I'm betting we'll be over 200 by the time the show happens!!!

I'm compiling all of the info on the front page so please make sure you update your ticket count, Section and Row Numbers. If you're on the "Hoping" for list gives an update if you score tix! send me a PM if you have an update. Saves post space and helps me not have to scroll through all of the posts.

If everyone updates their information we'll have an accurate headcount and plus after the show when everyone from the 10C pre-sale updates what Section and Row they were in we'll be able to map out where everyone was sitting/standing.

The Wikipedia page for 1st Mariner lists the concert capacity at 13,650 with a maximum capacity of 14,000.

When I saw Disney on Ice there with my kids they completely blocked off obstructed view seating. This event was sold out for a month before so they could have easily filled those sections. So I'm guessing they are not going to sell seats that cannot view the stage. Just a guess...Not for sure.

    Can't wait!!!

Once again please update your info so I can update the front page. Sending me a PM will make this easier as well.

    Thanks!!!

You can get off at Convention Center or University Center. Once you see the baseball stadium, you're gonna wanna hop off and walk a little north on the same street (Howard). Huge sign on the building- can't miss it :) Just don't walk too far PAST 1st Mariner- starts to get a little sketch.

As for walking around, you should be ok... just with any city, be aware of your surroundings and know where you're headed in advance! :)

Feel free to PM if you have any other questions or want suggestions for things.
