Seriously doubt there will be any postponement of the show....with everyone flying in, plus there are other concerts at Wrigley the rest of the weekend. I'm going to hope for the best and bring a raincoat in case.

No need to worry. A lot can change between now and then and even if there are T-storms...they don't last long.

Yeah, a lot can change....but the potential for hail makes me nervous.

I would think they might treat it like a baseball delay. You hope to start on time, but maybe you delay the start until the worst of it passess and then you extend curfew accordingly.

However, I am *almost* glad I didnt get GA because people that go in early wont have a fun time it seems.

The forecasts have made me feel a little uneasy all week. And to make it worse, it's the only day this week that the forecasts call for thunderstorms and rain in Chicago.

That said, the forecast is still projected 4 days out and so much can change between now and then. You never know, it could all blow over and skirt around Wrigley, or the really bad stuff could all take place before the show starts and be clear by the time the guys take the stage.

It might get a little wet and have to deal with rain, but that could enhance the party and show even more. Definitely hoping for the best weather possible though......

If the weather report still looks like this on Thursday i'll get nervous but it's way too early to tell. This time of year in the Midwest this stuff can change constantly.

I'm willing to take the chance. Build a lightening proof barrier around the band and play on!

"Officially nervous"...couldn't put it better myself. I've been checking the weather non-stop...flying in from
Boston Thursday morning and will be beyond disappointed if anything ruins this night. This is my 9th show and first chance to get up front with GA tickets, it couldn't be at a more important show for this band...Keep our fingers crossed!

Flying in from NJ on Friday morning. Consider myself a weather enthusiast. We can only hope it blows through early.
  • As of now it looks like the day will be worse than the night. And scattered T-storms can usually result in no thunderstorms at all. Still keeping the faith that it will work out for us all.

How about some small hail for "Hail-Hail". That would make for a pretty cool effect. Or how about some lightning for Given to Fly? That may add a dimension or 2!!

I'm not overly worried at this stage. Like others have said, the weather can change in an instant in the midwest, and even if there are t-storms, they usually don't last long and don't bring much rain. I'd worry more about the heat and humidity. Stay cool and hydrated!!!

With the "cold" front moving in on Friday it is extremely likely there will be storms, I am hoping it is earlier rather than later.
