Advice for buying tickets

Hi friends,

I'm planning to buy tickets for shows on the upcoming North America Tour. I'm from Australia, and fortunately the west coast shows have lined up with my current travel plans in the US/Canada.
I plan to attend Vancouver, Oakland, and possibly second night in L.A.

I'm experienced in buying tickets to events here and know how ticketmaster works, and I've scoped out when the tickets are on sale and where to buy them, but i'm wondering if anyone has some further advice for me???

Tickets will go on sale Australia time at 2am on a sunday morning, so i will be right on it.

I assume the above shows will sell out in no time, and additional shows are unlikely to be announced.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
