My friend Jen and I had Row FF seats 109/110 which were 6 rows back and pretty much dead-center to stage and were just floored by the whole experience/quote]
Funkdog I really hope your tix for the second show come through for you. It was great to meet you! Thanks for the tips on the bands.

Death Cab For Cutie
Band of Horses
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Interpol
Muse
The Arcade Fire
If I think of any more I'll let you know.
"Trying is the first step towards failure" - H.J.S.
"I have come here to chew bubble-gum, and kick ass! And I'm all out of bubble-gum!" R.P.
till like 2 - i think the show ended at like 11:15ish
you get any autos or pics? I think I met you btw at the show waiting in line for the poster. I quoted Chief Wiggim saying "The harder you push the faster the line will move."

I was up at the stage after the show to beg for a pick (yep got one)
and noticed a picture of what looked like a native american guy on the floor next the table. Anyone have any info on that picture?
That's sick!!! That is if it's what I'm thinking it is. There was pit member (skyriverwinter) who handed Eddie some personal native American artwork right after the set in SC and afterwords when we met him that night, she had a chance to speak to him about the artwork which he really appreciated. I would be willing to bet that is what you saw...was it in a black colored type of folder by chance? If so, then it's definitely her artwork.

haha - yeah i remember
I asked him for a pic, but he said "sorry, a pic i can't do"... my posters were in the car (didn't wanna risk not meeting him), but some dude hooked me up with a playbill i got auto'd
I never knew they left venues so late. I thought they just whisked them out the back somehow. You think he gets bored backstage waiting until 2 a.m.?

Corduroyboy, it was really good to meet you and your wife.
Everytime I've met Ed..at Benaroya Hall, Bil Graham Civic Center and now SC it's easily been a 2 - 3 hr wait for him. What can I say, the man must love to hang back after a show and tip a few back and reflect. I think the SC show was over around 10:45pm and Ed didn't pop out of the bus until 2am-ish. Once you see that sillouhette of Vedder appearing out of the blue though, all the time you just waited around seems, at that moment, to be well worth it. And the other night in SC, I can say it was definitely worth it.

And it was totally worth it, Michele! You should have waited with me! He could only stay for a minute because he said he had a meeting he had to head to (meeting = party, I'm assuming). But I got my poster signed, met a great fan (Hard2ImagineVic2007), and told my hero "thank you" for all his music and that "Come Back" got me through my husband's deployment. Ed asked if he was home safe, I said yes, and he said that was good. It was such a short moment, but it was amazing.

We were glad to sit by you! Thanks for the music recommendations . And yes, I met him!!
It was great to meet you and Ray as well. Get to that MSG show with him!!
I hear you! It is killing me that last Friday I went on ticketmaster and had a row F ticket in my cart for Berkeley 2, but decided not to buy it. Of course, I was completeley exhausted on Tuesday after the weekend in SC and driving back out to Berkeley, but seeing McCready would have been worth it!!
By the way, Ray called me Tuesday and said he met Ed after night 1!

Probably not, or he'd just leave earlier.
