FYI - I'll post it in this thread as well.

I just price-line negotiated a hotel for the evening of 11/15 in dallas.

I bid $110 on a 4 star hotel, and landed the Hyatt Regency downtown on reunion boulevard. The total (after taxes and fees) came to $134 for the night.

I'm sure it's probably another $30 to park for the evening, but I don't feel that's too bad a price....

just incase anyone else is looking.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

I did better. I started bidding at $60 for a 4 star in downtown Dallas and finally hit at $72. Says I saved 85%. Hyatt Regency.

nice.... clearly you are a better negotiator than me.

I just put in a bid I thought was reasonable... lately I have been having trouble hitting anything 4-star in most cities for less than $100.

I honestly didn't think I'd hit this far out. 4 months out is a long time. I can't believe their regular rate is $500/night. That's ridiculous.

Got my first choice - reserved seats. Luckily the in-laws live in Frisco so I won't have to pay for a hotel.
