Dragonfly

If I was given the choice for rebirth,
I'd be a Dragonfly.
As a nymph,I'd be a predator.
For One to three years,
I'd feed on those that would surely
have a hand in my demise.
I'd rise from the depths of the water,
Full of purpose.
Tender,Soft and Delicate,
I'll hang from a branch,
Along the Bonnie Banks.
Until my wings are dry,
Fly away fly.
Though to some it's a short life,
It's a full life for me.
To be in the presence,
Than in the future.

great poem, made me think of how we are loving a multitude of dragonflies this year
last evening one sat on milady's shoulder in the hot tub. Beautiful blue with big eyes.
Dragonflies seem to love her. They are a friendly sort. I heard they are good luck. I'd like to hope so.
