Hey guys,
I heard Stereo and I really liked it. What other songs/albums should I listen to? Thanks :D

All of them...no joke. Pick an album and buy it. They never went through a drastic change in style or sound throughout their career.

Stereo is from Brighten The Corners

I think their first three albums are superior to their last two. I was so happy when these guys toured in 2010 as I got to see them 3 times within a week.

I listened to Slanted and Enchanted, and it is awesome! I am still in the process of listening to the others, but I really like everything so far.

This was an awesome band, everything they put out was rad. Check out their DVD Slow Century. It does a good job of explaining their career.

Is it weird that all my favorite Pavement songs are the ones that are 2 minutes or less?

I understand the impact Pavement has had on music and do appreciate that but I like the Silver Jews better.

No reason they both can't be considered great.

Agreed. You can't go wrong with any of their albums.

Start with Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain / Wowie Zowie / Slanted & Enchanted & then get everything else they ever recorded including all the EP's! Magnificent band with an incredible sound, always reminds me of my teenage years :D
