The names were verified by Ben Fired.

Late Friday, the NTSB apologized for the incident. "Earlier today, in response to an inquiry from a media outlet, a summer intern acted outside the scope of his authority when he erroneously confirmed the names of the flight crew on the aircraft," the NTSB said in a statement.

ok, yes the names were confirmed but as a journalist, do you really go on the air? i mean, a little critical thinking perhaps? maybe try to find a second source for "Sum Ting Wong"?

That is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. Hate to laugh when such a tragedy is involved, but man, "Sum Ting Wong", "Wi Tu Lo", "Ho Lee Fuk". And to hear the woman reading them man I'm in tears...
