    Yeah, I was wondering where the doggies were hiding for Boston II. Here doggie doggie, where are you? Lost Dogs is my favorite CD(s), so please Pearl Jam play more especially Alone and Dirty Frank, and Education, and Undone, and Brother, and Sad some more and the other ones, too.:)

    is there no one else in agreement here? i don't understand the lack of love for these songs...especially the previously unreleased ones.

This is my 420 post- I may have to remain silent for a few until I can get home and smoke a big fat bowl while listening to Lost Dogs just before we head out to Jersey!!!!

    I think it's always the case that songs on albums are more popular than rarities. Not a problem though, us fans can make sure the guys know how much we love those songs! :D

    allright, here's the deal. i would love all of these songs to make it on a setlist sometime soon. BUT, as we know, there is something special about holding off on certain songs to build up EXTREME demand for them. the best example of that is LEASH, which made for one of the best moments in concert history!!! pearl jam knows that we want to hear these songs, very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very badly, but they love to draw out the suspense, even if it takes years to start unLEASHING the songs one by one. this way, it makes for an AMAZING show each time that a song is introduced, and i love them for doing it this way. i'm sure we'll hear each of those unplayed songs in due time, but for the moment let's just continue to rock out the way us 10 clubbers are notoriously known to do!!!

    to a large extent, i agree, but can't these songs at least make a live debut? is that too much to ask?
    also, i'm NOT hearing anybody begging for them and i dont get it. come on, i mean, all night? hitchhiker? education? in the freaking moonlight?!?! you are telling me you WOULDN'T want to hear these live??

    I've heard a good deal of "Lost Dogs" live. ( U, Footsteps, Wash, Yellow Ledbetter, Alone, Don't Gimme No Lip, Down, Last Kiss) but I still need to hear...

    Other Side and Fatal. those songs are excellent and I think would be great live (the Benaroya version of Fatal is good)

    It would also be awesome to hear Gremmie Out Of Control and The Whale Song, but I'm not holding my breath

    I never understood why they let Strangest Tribe go unplayed. God I love Stone with an acoustic guitar and, in this case anyway, a pen. My personal favorite lost dog.

    I love Lost Dogs but I must say that I'm not too pleased with how some of them have been done live. "Don't Gimme No Lip" sounds ridiculous on this tour. Boom makes it sound like it should be played during the opening face-off of a hockey game or something. "Alone" is nothing like it used to be... to me the lyric changes really ruin the story and there is no reason to shorten such a great song.

    That being said "Sad" is definitely one of their best songs live. It's just smokin' every time I hear it. Out of all the others, I think I'd want to hear "All Night" the most- it's a top notch track.

    for a little clarification on my part, most of what i'm talking about when i say lost dogs is the previously unreleased tracks that were on it. most of us on this board had heard all the other songs before, but there were around 10 or so songs on there that were totally new and are mostly just getting ignored. i mean, it's like almost an entire album of the catalog that just hasn't been touched. sort of disappointing. i mean they are killing the new album live (in a good way), why aren't we getting these songs a bunch too...they ARE new songs to the audience as well.

    no lost dogs treats last night- hoping for at least 1 or 2 tonight!!! can you say Dirty Frank? Can you say ALL night opener?!?! I can see why theres no love for this thread after last night- people were like stone during blood, comatose, leash and basically anything thats not off ten (my bathroom breaks-had too many of em last night) people are fucking clueless- its SAD.
