You know your living in a hell hole when North Korea and Syria don't even break the top 20.

My takeaway is that I'm not planning any field trips to about 90% of Africa anytime soon.

Good to see all that trillions and trillions of foreign aid poured into Africa has improved things .... ;)

We were already $16 trillion under before healthcare was pushed through. No worries though. Based on how well the European economies are doing after being pushed to the brink, there is nothing to worry about.

We have enough problems at home, the US should suspend all foreign financial aid until the deficit is gone and all our citizens have a roof over there heads. We need to take care of our own people rather than worry about other countries problems.

Foreign aid is only around $56 billion a year. I can think of other programs I'd like to see cut first.

40% of US "aid" is in the form of military ... it's really gov't sanctioned arms sales ...

I can't wait to travel across East Africa, including Somaliland, a country that doesn't officially exist.

Most of them are in Africa. The cradle of civilization has become a hell hole. That is tragic.

It's too bad humans can't get there crap together to coexist. There are so many places that are too risky to visit because we are dumb and greedy.

I would love to see the Swat valley some day but I think my time will expire before it is possible :(
