The previous Portland thread was just getting rediculously long, so I thought I'd start a new one. It's right around the corner, and I'm just curious if anyone has any inside info about:

1. What the set is going to be like. Should we expect a regular set, or given the venue, something more acoustic, a la Benaroya?

2. Who, besides David Cross, are the "special guests". I'd be happy with no opening band and a longer PJ set, but since they are advertising guests, I'm not sure what to expect. Hmm...maybe it's better that way...

    I have heard rumors..and only rumors..of a Sleater-Kinney appearance. Which would make sense, given they have decided to go on a haitus, and PJ are such big fans of the band. That's what I am expecting.

    Word is that it will be a rock show, not acoustic, and that Sleater-Kinney will join them for a couple of songs.

    I hope the rumors are true!!! A Sleater Kinney appearance would be a pleasant surprise!!! I'm bummed out they are calling it quits :(

    I loved "Leaving Here" with SK in Mexico #3 in 2003. Have the video of the performance and its one of my favorites!!!
